When it comes to art imitating nature, registered embossing applies the next level of realism. Süddekor helped to pioneer the technology of registered embossing where grain and surface features are applied to the finished surface in register with the print. Because we have our own graphics process in-house, Süddekor can supply the customer with both the pattern and finish specifications for the plate manufacturer. This process requires extremely precise definition of features and coordination with all the suppliers in the manufacturing chain, but results in a very believable, natural-looking product.
