The 2D Holding Company came into existence in 2004 and is comprised of the Süddekor Group of companies and the Dakor operation. The vision of the organization is to set new standards as a worldwide supplier of decorative surface components. The products and services of the 2D Group are based on a simple principle: smart progressive solutions for customers’ individual needs in surface printing and coating. And with exceptional design and product comes exceptional service.

Süddekor itself is composed of a tight network of internal companies who represent our growth and development as well as intentional expansion to single-source quality control. Süddekor LLC is the North American component.

Süddekor LLC Printing Facility (Agawam, Massachusetts)
Increased demand for Süddekor printed paper in the United States prompted the creation of a dedicated facility in North America. Süddekor LLC is the only company that offers North American laminate manufacturers a complete design service from scanning and separations to cylinder engraving, printing and treating from a single integrated resource.

Süddekor LLC is located in Agawam, Massachusetts. Our modern facility operates two high-speed seven-foot wide Kochsiek production printing presses, two Giave lab printing machines and a gravure cylinder engraving unit, along with design, sales and administrative offices.

Süddekor LLC Treating Facility (East Longmeadow, Massachusetts)
Süddekor LLC’s second plant in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, offers for the first time in the North American market a single source supplier for finished, treated papers. Süddekor, traditionally acknowledged to be the design authority in the surface laminate industry, now boasts state-of-the-art treating equipment and technology. Bringing treatment into the Süddekor fold saves money and provides efficiency by eliminating transportation, enhancing scheduling, improving quality control issues and decreasing lead times, therefore reducing the complexity for laminators.

The plant currently operates two state-of-the-art Vits treating lines and offers a variety of proprietary overlays for high and low pressure laminates.

NEW!Süddekor LLC Treating Facility (Biscoe, North Carolina)
In January 2008, Süddekor expanded its treating operation with the purchase of a second treating plant in Biscoe, North Carolina. This new southern plant’s five-foot treating line allows for greater competency, efficiency and schedule flexibility for our clients in tandem with our existing seven-foot treating lines in East Longmeadow.
